アジアの旅

Unlock the secrets of combining travel and work at our upcoming event: How to Travel & Work Abroad.

Learn from our panel on how to find opportunities (remote or regional), network, and build a career abroad. On January 24th at 1 PM PST, we’ll have a panel of amazing speakers who have lived abroad in Africa, Europe, Canada, Singapore, and even nomad-ed across the world.

Don’t miss this opportunity to turn your wanderlust into a way of life!

Justine Yang is a self-proclaimed travel lover and expert from Canada. Taking her first flight before she had even turned one, she has travelling in her DNA. She was a flight attendant for 3 years until the pandemic and then transitioned into working remotely for a tech company. In July 2022, her circumstances changed (tech took a hit and many companies did mass layoffs) and she took on a new adventure to solo travel for 4 months in Europe while Couchsurfing, podcasting and sharing her experience on Instagram. Check out her podcast.

Emily Fang is the CoFounder of Asian Wander Women and The Fang Girl on YouTube. She has previously managed and built communities at Stripe, Google, and HeavyLabs.AI (previously OmniSci). During the pandemic, she found herself in Singapore and loved it so much, she ended up finding a job and staying for almost three years. She currently rotates between San Francisco, Singapore, and Taiwan while being location independent.

Lucy Jeon is a global career strategist based in Canada and she is on a mission to help global talents find jobs abroad so that they can enjoy the lifestyle they always have dreamed of. She was born and raised in South Korea and grew her tech sales career across 4 countries including South Korea, Singapore, The Netherlands, and Canada. She shares her working abroad experience and tips on finding jobs abroad on her LinkedIn and her YouTube channel. She also interviews expats across the globe on her Podcast.

Mia Lei is a global public health practitioner. In her nine-to-five (i.e. paid day work), she supports governments with the development of strategies and projects to improve population health and systematize global health equity. Through this work, she has lived and worked in Malawi for two years and in Liberia for one. In her five-to-nine (i.e. her passion project), she leads a team to design a social movement to revolutionize health insurance in the US to something that actually works for us and reflects our values. Accidentally location-independent for the past half-year, she plans to visit 50 countries/sovereign territories by the age of 30 (and she’s just two away!)

Jenn Au is a self-care coach and holistic physical therapist from California. She is currently living her Asia dream life in Chiang Mai, Thailand! For most of her life, she has strived to fit the box of what was expected by parental pressures. Through her rock bottom experiences, she was able to break free from expectations of herself & her parents in order to step into her authentic version of herself & life. This led Jenn to her purpose of helping women ditch the stress to create a zen & productive life that is also authentic!
